Hey Everyone! My name is Jade and welcome to my “A Little About me” page…I am currently a student/educator attending the Parkland college in Yorkton SK, where I was born an raised!
As a child, I attended Elementary school at St. Michael’s School until grade 8 then proceeded through high school at the Yorkton Regional High School where I obtained my high school diploma.
From a very young age, I knew it was my passion to teach and once I was informed in 2014 that the Indigenous Education Program out of FNU in Regina was offering the 4 year program here at the Parkland College, I knew it was my opportunity to take to pursue my career as a teacher. I am currently finishing up my fourth year of the program and I hoping to be teaching by Fall of 2018.
I have two boys at home, my oldest is 6 years old and my youngest is one years old. My boys keep me busy but inspire me everyday to be the best mom, learner and teacher that I can be. I look forward to seeing what my future has in store for my family and my career and I am overwhelmed with excitement knowing I could possible have my own classroom very soon!
